We are pleased to announce that we will be running PET week in Cambridge on 28 October – 1 November 2019 with the following programme:

PET1 – Monday 28 October 2019 – £205.00 (reduced fee for Nurses and EEG Technicians only: £150.00) –https://courses.bpna.org.uk/ecomm_product_view.php?courseid=366

This is a one-day course, which will be delivered by Consultant Paediatric Neurologists, Consultant Paediatricians with expertise in epilepsy, and a specialist epilepsy nurse. The day will consist of short didactic teaching sessions and interactive workshops. This course is approved for 6 CPD points.

PET2 – Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October 2019 –  £395.00 (reduced fee for Nurses and EEG Technicians only: £350.00) – https://courses.bpna.org.uk/ecomm_product_view.php?courseid=367

This course has been developed to improve practice within childhood epilepsies and is delivered by means of didactic teaching sessions and small workshops.

PET2 concentrates on general aspects of the epilepsies (history taking, differential diagnosis, investigation etc) and on epilepsies encountered in younger children.

Please note, it is recommended that all those undertaking a PET2 course should have attended a PET1 course first. This course is approved for 12 CPD points.

PET3 – Thursday 31 October and Friday 1 November 2019 – £395.00 (reduced fee for Nurses and EEG Technicians only: £350.00) – https://courses.bpna.org.uk/ecomm_product_view.php?courseid=368

PET3 focuses on epilepsies presenting in older children and adolescents and transition to adult services.  (PET2 focuses on epilepsy in infants and younger children).

It is recommended that paediatric trainees and consultants attend PET2 and PET3.

Please note, it is recommended that you attend PET2 before attending PET3. There is no requirement for adult neurology trainees and consultants to attend PET2, although you are very welcome. This course is approved for 12 CPD points.
