Presented at the 2013 ILAE-UK Chapter Audit Competition, this audit examined the impact of the 2004 Quality Outcome Framework on standards of epilepsy management in a large primary care population.

Bone health advice in an adult epilepsy service: Re-audit of practice and influence of national guidance.

Presented at the 2013 ILAE-UK Chapter Audit Competition, this audit examined the impact of a guideline and MHRA safety update on the provision of bone health advice in a secondary care epilepsy service.

USE OF LACOSAMIDE IN ADULT EPILEPSY:
Is lacosamide being used safely, correctly and effectively?

Catherine James, Cardiff University Final Year Medical Student, completed this project to develop an audit of lacosamide prescribing following its UK licensing in 2008.
The project utilises methodology that could be used for auditing prescribing behaviour of any new anti-epileptic drug.
